I was a Librarian and Diversity Fellow at the Health Sciences Library at SUNY Upstate Medical University. My position was unique to the Library, so I wanted to document my journey. Additionally, I wanted to bring to light the many services that the Library provides.
Currently, I am a health sciences librarian. I genuinely believe that documenting my story is necessary. If I don’t write about it, then it’s as if it never happened.
