Hello! It has been some time since I have written on my blog. Due to overcommitment, recovering from burnout, and trying to have more of a life, my blog hasn’t been a priority. Interestingly, my vlog post was about Katrina Spencer’s article about overcommitment, so I look forward to doing better in the future. So by not making new commitments, I can make space for my blog and make it one of my priorities.
For the last two months, I have been attending a Summer writing workshop hosted by Colored Convos Media, and the wonderful Dr. Jenn Jackson and Daren Jackson made this happen. This space has given me some tips on incorporating a writing routine into my life by utilizing the Pomodoro method, which has been a game-changer. I have been able to write so much great content over the summer. I plan to start pushing out consistent blog content next month. The schedule that I mentioned will be kept.
I have been enjoying my summer. I have yet to go to the beach, but I know this will change in the coming weeks. It has been great to take time off just to relax. At times this summer has been weird, like twice we had smoke from Canada due to their wildfires. So that has been the result of climate change. Let me know in the comments how you have been enjoying your summer.
